Howard Pearlmutter has spent 51 paid years and more than 200 engagements connecting technology, software, and people, mostly through companies he founded. Development and consulting clients have included NASA, Apple, Disney, Xerox, HP, Kodak, CBS, Fujitsu, CSC, Capital One, Symantec, and the Financial Times. A separate record of paid presentations includes professionals from IBM, AT&T, Sun Microsystems, Intel, BT British Telecom, T-Mobile/Deutsche Telekom, Nokia, NASA Ames, Xerox PARC, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, and Barclays across five continents.

That trust has substance. GM and Ford needed complex factory designs made visible so their executives could approve; Howard built the animated virtual reality web signoff system. Valtech repeatedly entrusted him with advanced Java architecture audiences. His earlier work included extensible-language software, MIT supercomputer research, and parallel computing for NASA Ames. The point is a record of translating new technical possibility into results people can use.

His current work matters too. For Telos Alliance, Howard built working AI-assisted prototypes during an engagement that also included a custom AI-for-product-development seminar. About 20 attendees were expected; 47 came, including developers, managers, product colleagues, executives, and skeptics. John Schur said Howard addressed skeptical concerns with a careful path forward and wrote, “I felt that Telos received multiple times the value of our investment.” AI4DEV brings the same builder and teacher into a public conversation about new capability and software-development work.
